  • Carried the UUPA banner in the banner parade.

  • Informational Booth in the GA Exhibit Hall, including a slide show of UUPA related images.

  • Displayed the curriculum Love Makes a Family, packaged with its resource book, What Does Polyamory Look Like? at the UUPA and UUCARDS booths.
          About the curriculum

  • UUPA held its 16th Annual Membership Meeting by teleconference after General Assembly. The membership adopted a bylaw amendment to move UUPA's Annual Membership Meeting earlier in the year.
     
    The purpose of the earlier date for the meeting is to separate the workload of meeting preparation from that of General Assembly preparation and attendance.

  • Arranged for the curriculum resource book, What Does Polyamory Look Like? to be offered for sale in the UUA Bookstore booth at General Assembly.

  • UUPA will not have an Informational Booth in the GA Exhibit Hall in 2012.

  • In 2012, UUPA held its 12th Annual Membership Meeting by teleconference after General Assembly. This was the first time that teleconferencing was used for the Annual Membership meeting.
    The purpose of this format change is twofold: to provide the opportunity for more UUPA members to participate in the UUPA Annual Membership Meeting, and to free UUPA members to participate more fully in General Assembly events.

The growing visibility of polyamorous families among UU congregations introduces new dimensions to ministry.  How can UU clergy and congregations shape their ministries to welcome these families, including their children?  How can openly polyamorous families participate in the mission of their congregations?  How can UUPA assist in this evolving ministry?
