Re: [UUPoly-L] Rich needs buttons

Hi All,

I guess this is a good back-ended way to introduce myself having lazilly lurked here for a few weeks while working hard on other aspects of life (work, relationship, commitee-ism, etc... ).

My name's Rich and I serve on the Board of the UU Fellowship of Santa Cruz County (UUFSCC). I'm also a CUUPS person and am very active in conjunction with important ('least I think so!) committees.

Our first (and last) poly sermon was given by our now-ex minister last year at this time and I would like further education on things poly-wise to be able to take place in our local congregation. While it was ground-breaking, gutsy and really cool to have had intro-to-things-poly be the sermon, I feel that much ignorance and misconception remains that I would sorely like to dispel. To that end, I'd like a nice UUPA button as a means for engaging folks in conversation about poly, a dream I've been seeking since I first applied for membership last summer.

As a very busy volunteer, I understand and have compassion for those run bureacratic machinery so I'm not angry but, member or not, I'd like a nifty UUPA button (if there are any left) just so folks'll ask me about it and I can educate them. For me the button is my supreme desire within UUPA. Or without it. I don't think I'll get around to making my own buttons and having something official would be nice.

  Thanks for asking, Sally!

  Blessings Everyone!
