If people like you quit misusing the word "evolution" there'd
be a lot less trouble getting them to teach the real thing in
schools.

My friend, if you really want to change the evolution of human
society, change the evolutionary pressures.  Choice does not
drive evolution; temporal advantage deriving from a different
way of doing things does.

If you can be more successful (leave behind more children, or
if you're talking purely social evolution develop ideas that
give their followers an immediate advantage) than the other
people to an extent that you and yours leave not enough resources
for them to flourish, *THAT* is evolution.  Otherwise ...  it's
just social interaction.
