I am not partnered at this time (although I would certainly like to be). 
That means a certain amount of experimentation while I look for a primary 
partner.

One of the problems I have run into is poly people who get angry (yes, this 
has really happened) when I say I do not do one-night stands.

One night stands are certainly not ESSENTIAL to poly!!!  People can make 
friends and agree to explore sexuality and agree to try to make a 
relationship work.... they can have an INTENTION of trying to form something 
lasting.

This doesn't mean it will always work.  Sometimes something may end faster 
than either partner sincerely expected.  But for me, it's not about looking 
for one-night stands.  I can get that by attending a swing club, and 
frankly, I do not wish to re-visit that route ever again.

For those who enjoy absolute no-strings sexuality, have fun!  Be safe!

I enjoy sex as part of a lasting friendship, at the least.  For me, anything 
else leads to regret.
