Alan,   The quote was so pertinent to my mind set that I think it is 
an exact quote or near enough to not really matter.  I use it all the 
time in talking about Polyamory and shifting paradigms.  At any rate 
the idea is his, I could never be so clever to come up with something 
so catchy.   But I plagiarize all the time  :-)

        It was the East Coast Conference,  the last one, I think, 
before Loving More fell  apart for a couple of years.
Maybe 2001 or 2002.  Sorry I can't be of more help but my memory dims 
and all these Poly conferences blend together.
