ESCAPING POLYGAMY     
Polygamy is illegal in  every state in the U.S.  However, some religious 
organizations still  incorporate the practice into their religious doctrines.  
While the Mormon  faith has denounced polygamy, the Fundamentalist Church of 
Jesus Christ and  Latter-Day Saints, (FLDS) a sect that has broken away from 
Mormonism, believes  that their male members must marry at least three wives for 
admittance into  heaven.  Today we'll meet current members and former members of 
FLDS who'll  tell us how polygamy has impacted their lives.  A mother and 
daughter will  tell us why they were both wives to a man who had 16 other wives.  
Plus,  we'll also speak to young men who say they were kicked out of the sect 
and torn  away from their families for being rebellious.
