I apologize to those getting = duplicates.=20 Two new groups have been formed in order to support more active = networking for poly-folk and poly-groups in the New England and = surrounding area. Hopefully, they will also serve as a resource that = might create a means for the sharing of information regarding groups, = events and gatherings across the region - that some people really = appreciate having access to...while cutting down on the level of = cross-posting some folks do not appreciate so much. These 2 groups are not intended to compete, replace or supersede any = other groups already in existence now...much like ethical poly relating. = :-) They are purely intended to support individuals and existing = groups network on a broader scale. Owner/moderators of existing groups = in the New England area are encouraged to join these groups to aid them = in promoting their gatherings and enhancing outreach efforts. The first group is a probably more accessible group. It is on Yahoo, = found at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/NEAPN/. Moderator/owners are = welcome to post their group's info in the database, as well as their = groups activities on the NEAPN calendar. For this group your Yahoo user = ID must reflect that you are in the New England area. This group has a = limited membership setting, which means members will need to give a = relevant reason to join and then be approved. It is also set so that = the archives will only be viewable by members. New members will be = moderated for a post or so, and then released to non-moderated. Posting = an introduction will help get you on your way there. The second group is to support New England poly-folk with Facebook = memberships (www.facebook.com) network on a possibly more open and = active level. The same information welcomed in the Yahoo group is also = welcome here, as is a more personal level of networking (just please = keep it appropriate and respectful). The settings of this group are = such that only members of the group will be able to view more than just = the group description. I do not yet know if that will prevent the group = from showing in your list on your profile though. If you are not fully = out to others you connect with on Facebook, you may need to experiment = with that to see if it's possible to join and hide the group from your = list (or not) and make your own call on that The FB-NEAPN can be found = at http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=3D186048887340&ref=3Dmf.=20 Peace and Blessings: Tara Shakti-Ma )O(=20 http://www.facebook.com/dakinitara.shaktima =20 Love and Gratitude are the seeds of Joy.
