well well, the country is full of gay dentists looking for lesbian tax attorneys needing a conventional marriage. i actually used the "aquarian gospel of jesus the christ" when doing pre-marital counselling in the early 1980s. Probably zilch of evangelical ministers would use it as the primary job of the priest was to ascertain whither or not God joined the two parties together PRIOR to actually conducting the ceremony. If God hadn't, the priest officiating was just of guilty of adultery as anyone.

Had to laugh when I saw this: where the "defense of marriage" folks have so
narrowed their definition of acceptable forms of "family" as to exclude, well,
