[UUPoly-L] Thanks Dave: Poly Mormon coming out /interesting info
Dave,
Many thanks to you for a fascinating news story about children
of plural marriages coming out to support their lifestyle and the
reference newspaper links!
In a not completely unrelated way, I will be giving a
presentation of the principles of creating real community at the
upcoming Rethinking Education conference in Dallas on Sept. 2nd (Sat.)
This conference is primarily the focus of families who have a strong
interest in home schooling and not having their kids in the public
school system for whatever reason. The fascinating and exciting aspect
for me is that these families very, very often have a yearning also for
'community'. That's how I got invited to speak there.
It might be something to attend for those of us who value both
how our children are schooled and who have an interest in group living
in one form or another. Here's a link for both what I'll be doing and
the Rethinking Education Conference itself.
