I'm seeing your triangle as having all the domain within it.  Monogamy, 
full on Polyamory, and sex-anything swinging being the corners.  Polyfi 
would be half way along the mono-poly edge.

But I find myself somewhere out in the middle.  I don't swing, but I do 
have casual sex with close friends sometimes.  We don't call ourselves 
lovers, at least not in any ongoing sense, but we're definitely friends 
with privileges.  That would pull me a little ways off the poly corner 
out into the open toward swinging.

And yet, I, from time to time, label myself "coincidentally 
monogamous."  By this I mean, if I'm enthralled with the one I'm with, 
I'm not too much interesting in sexing anyone else.  If it happens, 
well, cool.  But I'm anything but a advertisement for "do me."  This 
would pull me over to the mono corner a bit.

So here I am, out in the middle of the triangle... enjoying the heck out 
of myself, getting my needs met, loving life.  <<super grin>>
