[UUPoly-L] Christine's suggestion seems appropriate--

--and mature.

I am not at all opposed to posting something
"tangentially relevant" to polyamory on this list.
However, John, and others in the future, please do
explain in your original posting why you feel it
applies to a polyamory list. Many of us don't have
time to read any of our email, much less have time
spent on what appears, at first inspection, to be
unrelated to the subjects at hand (thus the reason we
use digest format and merely lurk rather than actively
participate in most discussions, which does not imply
we are not interested!...just very, very busy). John,
your further explanation of why you posted it seems an
appropriate use of this list, but, the original did
not contain any helpful information for making that
apparent.

Thanks for posting it, and for stimulating the
discussion, thus helping us to clarify what it is we
feel might be appropriate use/etiquette of this list.

I, for one, appreciate the (for the most part) gentle
discourse and respect for each other found on this
list.

Sincerely,
Anne Newcombe
Upper Michigan/Northern Wisconsin
