Re: [UUPoly-L] previous appeal

Dear Valerie:

My background in this is partly from studying third party custody case law in "Corpus Juris Secundum" back in the late 1980s. Things have certainly changed since then. It looks "Latimer v. Farmer" (South Carolina 2004) will have some bearing on this situation. You would certainly know better than myself.

My whole beef about your Bedford Lyceum outing was primarily that you did not qualify your disagreement with UUPA media guidelines at the onset of your lecture. Not that it was that big of a deal. I tend to agree with UUPA's position on that issue since you made it known to me.

To partly elucidate, the only place I have ever seen the phrase "a well-funded UU Pagan Group" was in Jerry Falwell's rag. What did he mean by that, why did he write it? Perhaps to get the True Believers to send in more money, I would imagine.

Best wishes with the Knoxville case. If they do not plan to relocate too far from Knoxville they may do just fine.

cordially,

Tim

The attorney thinks differently. The pleadings suggest
differently. The order states differently.

I can't comment because I didn't understand our private exchanges
then and I don't now. I also don't understand the expression "spray
paint your rook".
