It's too bad they're not being more forthright about their intentions, but it seems like even if polyamory gets presented as "on the fringe" it's still getting an awareness out there.  Seems to me like everything that was once controversial and is now mainstream started out by getting "bad" press.  I think it would be great to have someone to explain how you can lead a completely ethical life while having sex with more than just your legal partner, but of course, I have not much room to talk because I'm not out about my poly status except to a few close friends.  Maybe one day!
