[UUPoly-L] Intersted in Eurika, Northern Cal Area

My partner and I are in the early stages of contemplating a move to South of Eureka north of the Russian river communities, from Seattle.  We are interested in the coastal range rather than the valley.  Is there anyone from these areas here, or anyone that knows these areas?  What is the poly/BDSM/alternative communities like?
