[UUPoly-L] Booth at GA 2007

The UUPA booth at  GA last June in St. Louis, MO, was invaluable. UUs, 
including some  ministers, stopped and talked with us who never would have  
contacted UUPA otherwise. Even folks who scurried away from UUPA's booth in  
discomfort saw us set up and talking with other UUs just like we belonged there  (which 
we do), allowing them to begin getting used to our presence and take the  
first step in moving from "What are THEY doing here?" toward "Well of course  
this group belongs here."  

With the success of last year's booth, the UUPA Board is looking forward to  
having a booth at GA 2007 in Portland, OR and continuing last June's very  
successful work. The smallest booth costs $850, due  immediately, which will 
strain UUPA's current funds. In order to pay for  the GA booth and continue 
placing ads in the UU World, UUPA needs the  participation of our supporters.

can be used  for donations. Please also join UUPA or renew your membership at 
this time. Your  membership dues and/or donations contribute to raising 
awareness within the UUA  about polyamory, poly families already in UU 
congregations, and those poly  families who have not yet found a safe religious home.
