[UUPoly-L] Polygeezers E mail list Lives

Hi All, I have noted over the years that there are more and more
folks entering the Poly community who are moving or getting close to
the Medicare Years. Because our issues may be a bit different from
younger members of the Poly community we have set up a new E mail list
at

 http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Polygeezers/

to discuss issues more of concern to us "Polygeezers"
.
And although I know that "geezer" seems to apply to men, the ladies
are invited to join and share their issues with the gentlemen.

Some issues that immediately come to mind might be: Finding a place
to settle down that offers continuing care that might understand that
you want to live with two partners, to marry or not as you age,
health issues, sexual performance and changing sexuality,
companionship needs instead of sexual needs, being accepted at Poly
gatherings where you might be the oldest person there, perceptions of
being rejected just because of your age, and on and on. I am sure
older members of the Poly community can come up with lots of topics of
concern to more, ummmm, mature Polys.

The list is brand new and will need some tweaking, but join us if you
have a bit of "snow on the rooftop, but fire in the furnace". Or
maybe you are younger and are just curious about how things might be
in just a few years when those gray hairs appear -- come along...

Sign in and tell us about yourself.
