[UUPoly-L] UUPA and independent affiliate status

Okay, I have some naïve questions... I realize this will not make up for
having the UU official "support", but bear with me

1) In a worse case scenario, where we might have to close this web-group, is
there any reason we can't start another web group under our own name?

2) Is there any reason people can't continue to do sermons on poly themes?
I have done sermons at my church on various topics -- it's always been
between me and my minister.

3) Is there any reason we can show up at UU congregations and form
"relationship discussion groups"? I find just about any group can get space
where I go. The only issue is whether we get the space for free, but if the
people involved were members (especially the one asking for the space) I
suspect it could be done.

4) Is there any reason people can't show up at UU events/services hand in
hand in hand? I've done it.

These are quiet ways of influencing others and finding others who might
agree that poly is a good thing, or at least a valid choice for others if
not themselves.

I don't want to start a war here... just trying to think positively as
something who has been around both UU and poly for quite some time.
