I get the impression that what you describe is what some other folks on this 
list would call a "Polyamorist" (Large P) -- I talk "polyamorists" (small p) 
sometimes -- but I just mean people who are polyamoroust.
 
I have to say, UU polys are the only polys I know who rip apart language like 
this, looking for precise meanings (but I think the super-gradations of 
meaning often aren't there to be found!).
 
I think we must call ourselves what we will -- and then explain what we mean 
to whoever wants to know.
