I think it is a valid concept that parents have a duty
to overrule their children in many cases.
You're right, of course.
Oh, for that middle road between exerting too much control over your
children's lives and simply letting them do whatever they want! It's
sometimes tough to know when to enforce limits and when to let them live a
little and make their own mistakes, especially as they get older. I just
hope I do a good-enough job that my child ends up happy with his life.
