Re: [UUPoly-L] Awareness message is working

I am a member of the Chattanooga Church and am doing what I can to raise awareness of polyamory in Chattanooga. I introduced the church newsletter editor to the word sometime last year. Steve Hollingsworth goes to about every General Assembly and moved here from Chicago several years ago.

I used to be a member of the UU Church in Chattanooga, TN. Compared to Portland, OR it is a very very conservative, deep in the South, community. I was delighted however to find a discussion about UUPA in this months news letter http://uuc.org/nuus/archives/July07.pdf
See page 3.

I love the last paragraph. With polys in our movement it is a matter of when and not if we will be introduced to a secondary partner. Or that it will dawn on us that one person holding hands with two people is based on more than camaraderie. Will we withdraw in confusion? Or will we stand on the side of love.
