All of the people I know who are in D/s relationships also do not ever
do anything suggesting it in public other than in clubs, parties where
it's expected, etc.  I only know it's a 24/7 thing for them because
they tell me or talk about it.  Their behavior is indistinguishable
from people who just do it now and then or only in a sexual way for
fun.  (And the idea of anyone doing that 24/7 makes me SERIOUSLY
SERIOUSLY uncomfortable.)

This argument is what people might call "hypothetical".
