I know I might loss my UUA credentials for recommending this, but I was
impressed with what I have read/listened to so far of Thomas Sowell's "Black
Rednecks and White Liberals"  Kind of puts some of the cultural myths' we
have in light of history.  As in Rap has Scottish roots.

A big part of the problem with white privilege is the fact that most folks  
benefiting from white privilege don't even realize it. "It's just the way 
things  are." Only it ISN'T the way things are for minorities experiencing  
discrimination. It's privilege they have no access to.
