Bettina,

I have gmail, which allows a thorough search of all prior email, and I
promise you I have no email from you prior to this one.

We are a triad, and though we started as you are starting (with one in a
clear position of "third"), we have gained balance in this year together.
It helped perhaps that in that time we all moved across the country
together, so though there was far more stress in the short run, in the long
run we are all on equal footing, starting again.

I wonder what you mean by sinking?
