[UUPoly-L] 2007 General Assembly

Dear UUPolys,

The Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) is holding its 2007 General
Assembly in Portland OR on June 20-24.  As President of the Board of
Trustees of Unitarian Universalists for Polyamory Awareness (UUPA), I'd
like to invite everyone on this list who could conveniently do so to
attend General Assembly.  I've been attending GA for the past several
years, and it has always been an exciting and energizing experience.
And I do think that the more openly polyamorous UUs who show up at
General Assembly, the better it is for the mission of UUPA.  

The UUPA Board is working on a few significant projects related to GA.
First, we're having a booth in the exhibitors' hall of the assembly.  We
did this last year, and I think it was an excellent way of making our
presence felt.  Second, we'll be having our annual UUPA membership
meeting sometime during GA, time and location to be announced later.
This meeting is when we elect trustees and perform other organizational
business.  Third, we'll be looking for an opportunity to have a UUPA
social event sometime during GA, again, time and location to be
announced.

If you're planning on being at GA, please speak up.  It would be great
to have some idea how many UUPoly folk will be there, especially if
you're willing to spend some time attending the UUPA booth in the
exhibit hall, we'll need all the volunteers we can get for that.
