Hello,
Here's an answer to the question about the geographic scope of Dr.
Wolkomir's research.
I forwarded the question about this anonymously to her. My email and
her reply are pasted in below:

Subject: Follow-Up Question About Your Research
On 13 May 2007, a member of a Unitarian Universalist polyamory email
discussion list asked the following question:
<<Are these interviews to be conducted in LA or is the entire USA open
for consideration?>>
Michelle,
Someone asked about your research. Are you planning on traveling to
meet people, looking for folks in our region, planning phone interviews,
etc?
I will forward your answer back to this poly email discussion list if
you want.
Thanks,
Steve

Hi Steve:
The answer to your question is yes...all of these options. Though I
much prefer talking with people in person, I simply cannot afford to
travel to interviews all over. If I have several people in one
location, I will make every effort to drive or fly in for the
interviews. Otherwise, I can do phone interviews at the participant's
convenience, and I would obviously like to interview as many folks in
this region as I can. I will do everything I can to make being a part
of this study as easy as possible for folks, and I am grateful for any
help and time people can offer.
Thank you for passing this information along.
Michelle

Let me know if you have any questions about this that you would like me
to forward anonymously to Dr. Wolkomir.
Thanks,
Steve
