cute - but no see-gar.

Again, when I had two husbands, we actually referred to the men's bedroom as the harem (hareem, harim, haram.) We only had 2 bedrooms - so we put the king in my room, which is where we had conjugal sleep overs, and then the guys had their room, which we dubbed the harem. ;-) You see, a harem isn't the group of wives, it's the part of the palace or household where *all* the women live "including mother, sisters, wives, concubines, daughters, entertainers, and servants. " By extention it also refers to all of those women, but it's not just limited to wives.

The word, just as an fyi, means "forbidden" or "prohibited", as it refers to the place in the household off limits to men.
