Or why not just use "household"?

cute - but no see-gar.
The word, just as an fyi, means "forbidden" or "prohibited", as it
refers
to the place in the household off limits to men.
The Arabic word "hareem" can also read to mean sacred -- and perhaps a
fuller translation as "set apart due to its sacredness".
A more important issue: if the partners of a given mongamous
relationship
are called a "couple," how do you refer to the partners of a polyamorous
configuration? One author I read uses the French term "menage" --
truncating from "menage a trois," but appropriate as the single word
literally means "household."
For referring to one's plural spouses, one could refer to "the others in
our menage"...
Or, simply but not as accourately/inclusively: just use "menage"...
Or: "my better two-thirds/three-fourths/four-fifths" etc., LOL
