Most of that information can be found in the works of Dorothy Tennov and, more
recently, Helen Fisher. Fisher's fMRI studies are the real revolution - altho
Tennov had intuited a lot of it in her psych studies during the 70's (and of
course coined the term 'limerence' - if you look that up on Wikipedia you get a
very good summary of Tennov). I also recommend the Scientific American Mind
magazine series.
However, some of the other bits are from the various science newsfeeds. I
recommend the AP Science feed, New Scientist (altho some content is pay),
Scientific American, and Science Daily (the best IMHO). There's new stuff every
week on how our minds work.
Also, of course, I speculate on my own, based on the available studies,
regarding poly in specific.
