[UUPoly-L] Dealing with Others

Hi, everyone,

It is so encouraging to find others out there that are
trying to live ethical lives while rejecting
mainstream, Victorian morality.  How many of you are
really out in your communities, like at work or at
your kids' schools?  How do you deal with the flack
you get from other people?  I recently started a
dating relationship with another woman that I've known
as a close friend for several years.  She told a
trusted friend who in turn blabbed about our
relationship to a bunch of her friends.  In the past
I've been very quiet and low-key about my poly status,
and now I'm suddenly finding myself outed.  It's
really stressful, but I love her so much and really
want to make things work out.  Thoughts?
