I have no desire to become pregnant and no intention to remain pregnant if I
became pregnant.  Fortunately, I've also never wanted to be a parent.

I've made it clear to the men I have sex with-- most of whom have had
vasectomies.  So we use condoms for STI prevention,  and I used BCPs for
about 5 years before recently getting a Mirena IUD.

I pointed out to a partner of mine that if he were to have a child with
another local partner of his, it would probably mean our relationship would
be unable to continue.  Not meant as a threat or anything, but since he
already has a wife and children, if he were to be parenting another child in
another home, I just don't see where he'd have meaningful time for a
relationship with me.  (He also travels about 25% time for work).

I know of a family involving 2 moms, one dad, and 5 kids.  The biological
father of one child is not the dad.
