[UUPoly-L] Back from the "Loving More" East Coast PolyamoryRetreat!

Gee, I was there too and Unitarian also. I had no idea so many were UU.

I am one of the founding members of UUPA and I do wish we had gotten
together to talk more UU stuff. I was at the Loving More Conference
in 1999 (???) where a UU first proposed we form a Unitarian
Universalist Polyamory group. At GA in Nashville we got together and
got UUPA up and running and I eventually participated as a board
member for several years.

I hope that all the UUs will seek out UUPA at www.uupa.org and join
and think seriously about forming a local chapter. (Instructions are
on the UUPA web site).

I have done a couple of sermons on Polyamory to my congregation with
mixed results but generally speaking my congregation is now well aware
of the connection between UU and Polyamory. I hope more of you will
provide information to your congregations.

Maybe next year we can have a meeting of UUs at LM East.

Oh yes, BTW, there is now a very active Quaker Polyamory E mail list.
Seems some Quakers are Poly too.
