Yes, and yes, although _Moon is a Harsh Mistress_ had more of an  influence 
over me personally. On my first reading, _Stranger_ shook up my  religion so 
much that relationship ideas faded into the background. Maybe my  second 
reading, too. I was Southern Baptist at the time. But I hear  about Stranger from 
other poly people all the time.
