Re: [UUPoly-L] Those links!!!!! Group newbie: books/resources about polyamory?
The Ethical Slut was a bit liberal for me. It did, however, have some good
advice.
Polyamory Roadmaps was as good read. Very down-to-earth, gritty and almost
pessimistic, but very valuable to those who are considering poly. Beware
that this is a large book.
Pagan Polyamory was an excellent book, even for those who are not pagan.
There is but a few things that are pagan related and the rest is a treasure
trove of practical advice.
Jenny Block's new book Opening Up, I think it was (don't quote me) awesome.
For those who are looking for a potentially biblical standpoint -
Divine Sexwas good.
If you are looking for Evolutionary Psychology or Evolutionary Biology you
could pick up The Myth of Monogamy or Why Beautiful People Have More
Daughters.
A socio-cultural view would be through The Anatomy of Love. These last three
are supportive but not specific to poly, but really great reads
none-the-less.
