The Ethical Slut was and is a book I recommend. I think it lays out a
really clear picture of what a poly situation can look like.
I read it when I first was getting comfortable with my poly status and found
it very helpful. I know many don't think that way - and the first chapter,
hell the first paragraph, is very in your face about what is going on, so I
can see where it would not be a good read for someone who doesn't KNOW if
poly is for them. But for someone who already does think that way, it's not
so shocking. In fact I remember thinking that the situation described in
the first chapter sounded perfectly normal, happy, and just how I wanted to
be living.
To me, it was a big help.
