Actually, it's only an *inappropriate* commercial plug if it's unsolicitied.
Since a group member has asked for poly book suggestions, and it's relevant
to the information that has been requested, it's hardly inappropriate. 

On the other hand, the long, commercial sig lines are always annoying,
especially to digest readers.  And it would be a courtesy if folks would
clip their replies... There was an entire digest appended below this one!
