Well, a week after the surgery ... Off antibiotics, and switched to over-the-counter ibuprofin.  But, best of all, I can have solid food starting tomorrow!  Will be looking for some place which serves turkey, LOL.

Now I have to begin exercises to strengthen my larynx, as the laryngocele had swollen large enough to distend and damage the muscle.  So I'm still on doctor's orders to rest the vocal cords, but spend an hour or two each day practicing.  With any luck, I'll be able to talk again before Christmas.
