[UUPoly-L] I made it official...

I had breakfast with our community minister last week, who is a also friend of mine.   After catching up on other details of each others lives, I told her that after 24 years with hubby, I was now poly.  Her reaction was just as expected, soooo supportive.   For the first time since starting my poly journey, I feel like I am totally honest with myself, even though because of personal reasons, I can not make it public knowledge.  The act of stating it out loud to a friend was such a relief.  Having it be a total secret made it seem slightly wrong and dirty, even though in my heart I know it isn't.  I'm just a very truthful person, and the lying or withholding of info aspect was working on me.
 
I'm hoping to slowly tell a few other friends.  I'll know when the time is right for each person.
