I ended up sleeping three in a full size (slightly smaller than a
queen) and since we could all be bed hogs when by ourselves, sometimes
it got "interesting". We're certainly not petite people, but it worked
fine for the duration of the triad. We also fit 4 of us in the same
full size bed, but it required turning sideways and having everyone's
feet off the edge. Not an answer for more than a couple nights (it
would have been fine if it were just feet, but it was almost
everything below the knees!)

I did, however, have to insist that everyone got their own blanket.
After being the one in the middle (the girl in the middle two heat
sources!) and waking up dying of heat or having to get up to pee and
having to crawl my way carefully out from the middle of the blanket so
as not to wake anyone... it was annoying. And I'm a "one leg out of
the covers" kind of girl. Being in the middle of the blanket was NOT
an option.
