[UUPoly-L] Flyer distribution at science fiction conventions

A few weeks ago I posted here about how fast people picked up the UUPA
trifolds and other poly flyers I put out at the Arisia science fiction
con. So, I've now gone and Made It A Project.

I found lists of cons online (my God there are a lot of them). I write
and ask if they have a freebie table for flyers and where to mail
these, and so far they've always written right back giving an address.
(These are volunteer enthusiasts.) I then stuff and mail envelopes.
I'll do this at the start of each month, working a month ahead. So far
there seem to be about ten appropriate cons a month.

What I'm mailing are copies of a generic intro-to-polyamory sheet, the
UUPA "Polyamory and Liberal Religion" trifold, and where
geographically appropriate, flyers for the upcoming Loving More East,
Loving More West, and/or Polycamp Northwest gatherings.

I can add more event flyers to the mix. E-mail me yours (pdf or a
high-res scan) and I can include it if there are any nearby cons
beforehand.

I've invested some in printing and supplies and am all set up to keep
this going indefinitely. Somebody should've started this long ago, say
I.

Eventually it would be good to find some way of testing how effective this is.
