[UUPoly-L] Numerous things

>From the Digest,
About asking if we see any hope for poly acceptance.

About looking to what happened in California to judge.
     First against...
     Then for...
About both Biden and Obama being anti gay marriage.

Like I said,
     One step at a time.
Gays have center stage right now.
If you try to sell it all - none of it will get bought. We'll just be dismissed.
We need to be sneaky and insidious about this.
JUST KIDDING !! ha ha ha

Thanks again to everyone who is taking the time to write.
This is a joy for me.
I so look forward to this digest now.

About Digest, Vol 50, Issue 8, Message 1, Your significant other's new girlfriend and adjusting.
I am so happy about the way you are working on working things out.
Many mono couples have relationships that can't hold a candle to yours.
Oh - and Rosemary we are neighbors! So good luck here in Wisconsin.
I live in Green Bay. Most people here would put me in the same category as a losing coach for the Packers if they knew I was poly. I might not live another day.

About voting for Obama - a man of color.
A bus driver (also a man of color) I know said something interesting.
Obama has a "vision" for the country. That's what he brings to the table. His oratory skill might be used for evil, as did Hitler. But it can also be used to inspire persons to greatness. In a non-partisan manner for a little while - let's pray (however you do that in this case) for the later.

About being in the senate (even for a long time like McCain) not preparing one for the presidency. I look at things from the other end. No matter who gets elected, they will have 10 million advisors informing them anyway. Perhaps experience isn't as important as vision like the bus driver says.

I was told this sunday that not only is Obama a terrorist, but he is the anti-Christ. No wonder he's a good orator! I don't know what people are worried about. God never was on our side (the infidels). It's just more of the same. I guess the anti-Christ is supposed to be popular with us sinners anyway. At least the people in 4 states in the south are going to make it. They must know that the only way to be patriotic and thus worthy of citizenship is to be in the armed services, my friends. heh

All seriousness aside though - my favorite part of Obama's acceptance speach was his saying "...I will listen to you - especially when we disagree." I like that.
