[UUPoly-L] Back to the bank

Hi all
Michael Paprocki here yet again,

Still interested in "What do YOU think?"
for anyone who has yet to comment.

Thank you Cynthia, Michael, Roza, and Catherine.
That's three votes. I will take that to the bank, ask to see my portfolio, and reconsider my investments.
I too am sure that Cynthia meant "not." The word "advanced" troubles me somewhat. I'm thinking about whether I was thinking that. Or whether I meant sensitive, compassionate, and caring. I don't know yet. Soul search time.

I do for some reason:
a) strangely appreciate being "put in my place"
and yet I at the same time
b) am a little defensive
In my defense I want to say that the suggestion that I made isn't THAT wild and outragous.
I'm sure (I think) you all would agree that one's choice of a religion says something about a person (maybe even a lot). Wouldn't it then follow that a person's choice of a life style says something about them as well. In fact - I would like to suggest that being a UU doesn't JUST indicate the greater probability of being more open. As a UU - I have met almost exclusively very accepting, kind, gentle, thoughtful, +, people. I'm trying to be fair, but I really don't think that's true of ALL religious denominations. I KNOW there ARE some - but I'm talking about where the bell shaped curve falls (kind of). In the same example - I think we would agree that being a UU RESULTS in (because of conditions) one's being accepting, thoughtful, and +, at least.
Or - and PLEASE tell me if - do you think I'm wrong about that.
And yes - I guess I AM suggesting more than just beliefs are involved, like in a traditional God or not and that LGBTQ folks should have certain civil rights or not - but personality characteristics, like cooperativeness and role flexability.
But like I said - I'll be at the bank evaluating my investment portfolio for a few days.
And by the way - I intent to forward your comments to my woman friend so she has the benefit of opposing viewpoints.
Michael Paprocki
