I voted for Obama and am ecstatic that he won. I think he's going to do a 
lot of great things for public education and this is a pivotal moment in 
American and World History. While Obama may not vocally support gay 
marriage, I certainly don't think that he's going to be pushing for a 
"constitutional amendment" to ban gay marriage!

I agree with getting involved with issues that matter. I think that can 
effectively be done by joining your local political club. If you belong to a 
union, get involved by becoming a chapter leader, liason, delegate, etc.
