Re: [UUPoly-L] Fw: To the extent that I prey ... My prayers are with you

I gave this some thought as I wanted to give an answer that was not flippant.

I do not believe that I am this way because of an hurt or emotional trauma. It is in part because this is who I am due to genetics or environment or a combination of both.

Another part would be my military training and background. In the military we need people who can shoot to kill and not hesitate when the order is given. If you hesitate at the wrong time you are dead and quite likely your buddies as well.

Another part is philosophy. I hold that people do not consider other people as prey. And if someone does consider people to be their prey, they have made themselves by their actions to be a danger to human life. That danger must be stopped in the most effective way possible. To do that means to stop that life that has decided that death to any whom it wants something from is a preferred end.

Be clear on this point. I will only act in defense of my life, my families life, innocent life and justly acquired property. I will not act out of rage, hatred or anger. To do so would make me less.
