Oh very true.   The statement from Fr. Farrow's blog was just a humorous way
to illustrate that although on paper the meanings might be the same,
culturally they are not at this point.

We all deserve the freedom to decide whether or not we wish to join
ourselves with gov't approval and with whatever ceremonial trappings we
wish.   But, that's just it - right now many people do not have that freedom
to make their own choice, they are simply told they cannot even play the
game.
