Re: [UUPoly-L] concerned newcomer

Hi Jess:  Sadly, in my recent experience (the past 5 months or so).....yes.   Lots of heady stuff and lots of competative intellectual flexing.  When I first joined this group it did not strike me as so much so, but now it seems there are a handful of argumentative standouts.   Hopefully, if those who are not so continue to post, it will shift the balance enough to make this group one that I enjoy reading again.  It feels a little hard to experience that here as of late.

Subject: [UUPoly-L] concerned newcomer

Hi Everyone,
I just joined this list looking for connections in the UU poly world... I'm a bit concerned... Is this the kind of conversation that usually goes on around here?
