rosemary, i also have watched this past week or so on this list with some distress.  however, generally i very much enjoy being on this list.  i freely admit, we tend to be a talkative lot.  i remember the week i didn't check my email for three days, and i got back there were 70 emails to read (i do not use the digest)!  however, i had great fun reading through them, and found many things to think about and ponder later.  i really do enjoy this list, especially as i am somewhat isolated, mostly by my newness to my area, and lack of connections.  reading the postings here reminds me that there are other people out there who think about love and respect and relationships in ways similar to mine.  i hope you keep reading and talking.
