Re: [UUPoly-L] Stranger In A Strange Land
Jasmine, Blessings!
You have been very informative, thank you!
Actually, several years ago I talked to the Pastor and Assistant Pastor
letting them know I was interested in connecting up with those who were
pro-poly. I was told that they were only interested in their congregants
spiritual life so they had no idea of such interest and since this was a
very conservative wealthy area likely there were no such people in their
congregation. Yes, I have mentioned to the leader of the sexual-diverse
group in the past of my Poly interest. He told me he did not know of anyone
else who was but I was welcome in there group. I have mentioned it a few
times but so far no connection there.
It seems closed minds cause much controversy in all kinds of fellowships and
groups----which eventually leads to people leaving and as you know at
times splits. Though, it seems to me Poly could be categorized as just
another sexual-diversity. (Though, since it is not there must be a
reason----likely others do not see it as I do.) People in UU are open to
all sexual identities, it is strange that some are so afraid of Poly. But,
human nature seems to be fear driven. That is until ones heart and mind is
open to the Perfect Love of GOD---unconditional-love. However, ego does not
have a loving nature----but our spirits are pure LOVE. Or the KNOWING in my
spirit tells me so.
Certainly, you are welcome. I am glad I was able to inform you of that.
Thank you, too, for a updated contact. I will send him an email.
Have a good Friday evening and a happy weekend.
Namaste
Kayla
