[UUPoly-L] a sad situation

The Sexual Freedom Legal Defense and Education 
Fund has recently received a request for help 
which does not really fall within our 
"jurisdiction":  the people involved are poly, 
but the trouble is not really related to their 
polyamory.  The teenaged daughter of a poly woman 
has accused her mother's partner of sexual 
assault, and as a result all the children are in 
foster care with restricted visitation.  The 
family is in bankruptcy and will lose their house 
the end of this month.  The pending criminal 
charges limit their access to subsidized 
housing.  We received this information from a 
relative, and I have not made any attempt to verify it.

If anyone is moved by their plight to want to 
help them out financially, SFLDEF will pass along contributions.

pick up that label and I will wear it as a badge
