[UUPoly-L] TV show looking for a poly couple

There is a TV show, the Mike and Julie Show, that is looking for a poly
couple that started out monogamous, but opened the relationship at the
request of the woman.

These segments are 20 minutes long, so they can only cover a fairly specific
kind of relationship-- covering all of "polyamory", for instance, would be
*way* too big a topic. I like the approach they are taking: offering a
small bone for their audience to chew on; let them digest that, then offer a
different situation later and let them digest *that*.

I talked extensively with these folks, and my understanding is what they are
*particularly* looking for this time is a long-term couple (married or not)
where the *woman* asked the husband to open the relationship so that she can
have a relationship with another woman. They would probably also be
interested in a couple where the woman wanted it open to include another
man.

They seem to be handling all this relatively respectfully; they are having a
*series* of shows on alternative relationship styles. The audience seems
supportive of the conventional values, but still allow the "alternative"
folks to say their piece without interruption.

They do bring in "opposing" views, but it is all handled respectfully, no
one talking over each other or shouting. So I feel that a couple (or triad)
could go on the show, say what they have to say, and feel that they had a
reasonable opportunity to offer their perspective.

They do seem to want folks with a particular configuration; in the show
below, for instance, the woman in the couple *offered* to let her male
partner have other relationships so that he wouldn't be tempted to cheat
(deceive)-- her idea is to keep it all open and aboveboard. But neither of
the women involved claim to want other lovers, and he expresses some
discomfort with the idea of them having other lovers. In this show, it is
presented as a men-are-wired-to-cheat issue; in upcoming shows, they seem to
be looking for other angles as well, so it's not that they have a simplistic
view of the whole situation.
