Re: [UUPoly-L] A concern from a little research

This has always been an open group, and warnings appear on each message at
the bottom. In any case, anything that has been posted on the internet can
be found by almost anyone. There is very little privacy left in this world.
The Facebook/MySpace/Utube generation will find that out as they seek jobs
and political office in the future.

Subject: [UUPoly-L] A concern from a little research

To Whom It May Concern (not sure who to direct this to):

I just did a Google search for another Poly group, and in the results the UU
group came up, but what's very concerning to me is that individual posts
also came up in seperate listings, and of course they also contain the
poster's email address.  I'm not sure how I feel about this, but my initial
reaction is extreme discomfort.  Has it ever been considered to set this
group up so that only members can see posts?
